Meet the Artist - Lady Endora

It is time for a new episode of Meet the Artist. Today we are going to meet a rising Star from eastern Europe. She is a very talented young Lady, a Cosplayer, Designer, Model and Shibari Rigger.

Toshi81: Hello to you, dear Anna! I am so happy to have you with us tonight. Please introduce yourself to our members.

LadyEndora: Hello! So, my name is Anna, and I position myself as a person who promotes the aesthetics of Shibari in my city and shares my works here on this site. I see the Shibari as very beautiful and aesthetic, something that you can reveal yourself as an artist. The beauty of the knots and the aesthetics of stiffness conquered me a few years ago and I decided that I want to give new emotions and feelings to people with the help of ropes. And, of course, each time tying their models, I also get an incredible amount of positive emotions. Sometimes a good mood after tying does not take weeks - it's like a subspace for a rigger. Studying Shibari, I also began photographing my models myself to get the exact result in the photo that I want. In general, Shibari helps me to reveal my creative and sensual nature. It is infinitely interesting to me, as this practice and art, in my opinion, can be known forever.

Toshi81: Now I would like to start this interview with an anecdote about the very first time I have come across your art in June 2016. At that time, you had just published your lovely Sunstone cosplay, representing the submissive character Lisa.



Toshi81: A few days later, you came up with another cosplay featuring Allycat the Dominatrix. The authentic look of both characters was truly mind-blowing. I was amazed by the vivid recreation of these characters and your unique way of cosplaying a BDSM Slave as well as a Master.
What does Sunstone by Stjepan-Sejic and your personal cosplay of Lisa & Allycat mean to you? Was this the start into a new era?

LadyEndora: Oh, I just fell in love with the comics of this author, and especially in "Sunstone". I can not say that cosplay was spontaneous - I thought about makeup for Lisa and Ellycat for a long time. Reading comics, in these characters I recognized myself - just as I was once shy to meet my first model of the bottom positioning. I was really amazed at how well the author described the relationship "Mistress - submissive". I liked the presentation of dialogues, I liked jokes of heroes and often I put myself in the place of Lisa or Elly. They are amazing girls, that's why I wanted to make cosplay on both of them. I also feel great in both roles, because I am a switch. Therefore, both characters just grabbed my heart. For me, Sunstone is something incredible!

Toshi81: In September 2016 you have started your next big show, by publishing sophisticated rope bondage, of which you were the Rigger and not the model anymore.



Toshi81: I was absolutely amazed by the fact, that you could create such artistic ropework, while being able to dominate and present the beauty of other young women, even though you are still so young, and a lovely Lady yourself. Where did you learn the art of rope bondage? How did all this start?

LadyEndora: It so happened that at first I came to the BDSM subculture, and only then could I learn about the shibari. Once, having moved to another city, I organized an event with my friend, to which he called the master of shibari. It was about 3 years ago. I do not remember what his number was, but he connected his model so beautifully that I made my way through the crowd to get a closer look at it, forgetting even that I was one of the organizers of the party. After that, I began to study independently shibari. I initially did not have problems with finding models, because among my familiar girls there were many who wanted to experience it on their own. At first, of course, I did not have submissive models or those who knew about BDSM. But over time, I was able to reveal their kink sides.)) With some models, good bondage sessions turned out, it sometimes came out spontaneously, and sometimes it was planned. Now nothing has changed - I can tie a girl who is just interested in beautiful photos, but I can make bondage session by using different devices.



Toshi81: You always manage to appear very mysterious and full of secrets. Even though you seem to be a rather dominant towards other woman, you occasionally present yourself bound as a lovely prisoner.  During these appearances, you show a lot of devotion and self-sacrifice, in order to get the best results. Once you even went into the raging Volga River with your hands strictly tied up with ropes! Amazing!



Toshi81: What does Bondage mean to you personally and how would you define your role in the BDSM universe? How did you learn to bring so much passion for Bondage into your artworks?

LadyEndora: Bondage for me is something very cool. Exactly what many people dream about, but not everyone is given a chance to try. I think that very many are simply embarrassed by their desires and I am very lucky that I can openly talk about bondage and make photo sessions, show them to people. I always want the model to be free in the ropes, despite the fact that at the moment it is tightly tied, if you understand what I mean.)) I mean, that she could free her thoughts and relax, drowning in sensations. I can not say that I found myself. I am in constant search for new ideas and inspiration, and my wonderful models help to implement them. In BDSM, I'm happy. Here I can do what I like - to give feelings and receive them, experiencing new sensations and not being afraid of desires. Having discovered once for myself BDSM, I can hardly do without it.

Toshi81: I did not know that you are a promoter and manager of BDSM events, but this sounds very exciting to me! Please tell us some more about your events and parties. Where do these parties take place? How can people join the show or get invited to your events? And how come you have started promoting events in the first place?

LadyEndora: It's simple - parties are an excellent opportunity to show a beautiful performance and get to know wonderful people who are also interested in bondage and BDSM subculture. I have been organizing parties since I was 17 years old. Before shibari events, I made parties devoted to various subcultures - gothic, cyber, and several concerts. My shibari parties are open, that is, anyone can attend the event and see the beautiful bondage show. I always set an age limit of 18+ and my volunteers check the passport.
With my parties, I want to show people that shibari is very beautiful and it is not necessary for the model to be exposed, as it is not necessary to have sexual acts on it. People can see the beauty and aesthetics of bondage, and in the future come to me to master classes. In fact, I am the first person in my city who made a shibari open-format party. Before that, there were only closed BDSM parties, on which there were no staged bondage shows, live music, guest artists. I saw that people are interested in this and this gave an incentive not to stop at what has been achieved and continue to do such activities. I think the mission is possible.))



Toshi81: How do you like the Deviantart Community and Castle Drachenfels in particular? Please tell us some more about the feedback you receive for your cosplays and your BDSM art.

LadyEndora: Oh, I like to publish my works here. This allows me to get criticism and good feedback to fix something and create further. In Castle I really like the heading "Meet the artist". Very cool to read the interview, learn about the master. Of course, I really like your extensive gallery with various bondage, and especially the cosplay album, it's great! You inspired me to make some photo shoots in the future that would combine cosplay and bondage. I think it will be Mei from "Overwatch". And, of course, it was very pleasant for me and my models to get published by you.

Toshi81: Have you ever been inspired or influenced by artists or commentators of the Deviantart Community? We have already learned, that you like the art of Stjepan-Sejic but maybe there are some more people you could tell us about, who deserve to be mentioned here?

LadyEndora: Yes, this author, of course, won my heart. However, every day I look through a lot of photos with bondage and realized for myself that there are so many talented masters and shibari models in the world! If we talk about someone who publishes on this site, then I really like the work of Rod Meier (Model-Space). I like the brightness of his works, as well as the complex and aesthetic bondage. If we talk about masters, whose works are not on this site, then I'm inspired by the work of Hajime Kinoko and Nawashi Monko. The first master creates incredible installations from the ropes, placing the model in them, and the second very nicely ties the models and takes photographs himself.



Toshi81: Last but not least, would you like to say a few words to your fans at Castle Drachenfels?

LadyEndora: I really want to say thank you to everyone who appreciated my work. You know, for an artist this is very important. It is this that inspires further work. Of course, I will have a small wish for everyone who would like to start working as a model or a rigger: try, find out yourself, create and do not be afraid. Ideally the first time it can not work out, but be sure of yourself and be able to get the best result.)
